Michael sat in his apartment with his commanding officer. The living room was sparse, Michael needed little.
An old guitar sat against the wall, next to a beat up plaid couch. A set of boxing gloves, used during his time in school, hung from a hook in the wall. There was no TV. Michael, Chapter 1 Killing. It was all Michael had ever known. So it was no problem for him to take the life of the Bolivian soldier in the sights of his rifle. The world shimmered in a grainy, bright green hue as he looked through the Starlite night-scope. Dark grease paint covered his face and dirty military fatigues wrapped his body. Blades of grass and wet leaves brushed at the little bits of exposed skin at his wrists. Tools of his trade decorated various parts of his body, weighing him down.
